박근혜 방미규탄 백악관 앞 긴급시위
– 박근혜 정권 민생 파탄내고 민주주의 기초 파괴해
– 대북 적대정책을 폐기, 한반도 평화협정 체결 요구

3월 31일 오후 1시 백악관 앞에서 진보적 성향의 재미동포들이 모여 핵안보정상회의 참석위해 워싱턴DC에 와 있는 박근혜를 대상으로 ‘종미독재 대통령 박근혜 방미규탄 재미동포 긴급시위’ (Emergency Rally of Korean Americans who Denounce the 2016 U.S. Visit of President Park Geunhye, the U.S. Worshipper and Civilian Dictator)가 열렸다.

이날 시위에는 시카고 및 뉴욕 등지에서 온 동포들을 포함하여 약 20명이 참여했다.

시위는 우리말과 영어로 구호 외치기, 긴급성명서 낭독(우리말, 영어), 참가자들의 자유발언, 백악관과 마주 보고 있는 라파엣공원 앞 인도 행진 순으로 진행됐다. 주변의 직장인들과 일반 관광객들이 유인물을 요청하고, 더 설명해 달라며 많은 관심을 보였다.

시카고에서 참석한 한 동포는 비록 작은 일이라도 우리가 행해야 세상을 조금이라도 바꿀 수 있는 것 아니냐며 오늘 이 시위에 모인 분들이 그런 복된 일을 하는 것이라고 격려를 했다.

또한 미국 정부에게 북침전쟁연습을 반대하고 평화협정체결을 촉구하기 위해 워싱턴DC에 와 있는 두 명의 평화미국원정단 활동가들도 시위에 적극적으로 참여했다.

재미동포들은 <종미 독재 대통령 박근혜 방미규탄 재미동포 긴급성명서>에서 다음과 같은 입장을 밝히고 박근혜 정부와 오바마 정부에게 다음의 4가지 사항을 촉구했다.

“국정원의 대선불법개입에 의해 집권한 박근혜는 사대매국독재 3년을 통해, 국가가 보장해야 할 가장 기초적인 국민의 기본권마저 강압적으로 박탈해 가며 국민들의 고통을 시간이 갈수록 가중시키고 더 깊은 절망으로 몰아 가고 있다. “비정상의 정상화”를 주장하던 가짜대통령 박근혜는 정상화는 고사하고 “정상을 비정상”으로 만들어 왔다. 민생의 토대를 파탄 내고 민주주의의 기초를 파괴하여 국민들의 삶을 벼랑 끝으로 몰아넣더니 남북관계마저 파탄시켜 민족 전체를 전쟁의 접경으로 내몰고 있다”

1. 박근혜 정권은 파탄난 민생, 파괴된 민주주의, 파멸된 남북관계를 정상화 하라.

<종미 독재 대통령 박근혜 방미규탄 재미동포 긴급성명서>

우리 재미동포들은 민생파탄, 민주파괴로 우리 조국의 국민들을 극심한 고통과 절망으로 몰아 넣고, 남북관계를 파탄 내고 전체 민족을 전쟁의 소용돌이로 몰아가고 있는 종미독재 대통령 박근혜의 방미를 강력 규탄한다.

국정원의 대선불법개입에 의해 집권한 박근혜는 사대매국독재 3년을 통해, 국가가 보장해야 할 가장 기초적인 국민의 기본권마저 강압적으로 박탈해 가며 국민들의 고통을 시간이 갈수록 가중시키고 더 깊은 절망으로 몰아 가고 있다. 박근혜 집권 이후 현재까지 국내, 해외 할 것 없이 함께 해결을 강력 주장하여온, 열거하기도 힘든 수 많은 문제들이 있다. 국정원 대선불법개입 진상규명, 세월호참사 진상규명, 노동개악 중단, 청년일자리 창출, 역사교과서 국정화 철회, 진보정당해산 등 공안통치 중단, 일본군 성노예 한일야합 무효, 테러방지법 폐기, 대북적대정책 폐기, 개성공단폐쇄 철회, 싸드배치 반대, 북침전쟁연습 중단 등등 어느 문제 하나 해결 되지 않은 채 지금에 이르고 있다. “비정상의 정상화”를 주장하던 가짜대통령 박근혜는 정상화는 고사하고 “정상을 비정상”으로 만들어 왔다. 민생의 토대를 파탄 내고 민주주의의 기초를 파괴하여 국민들의 삶을 벼랑 끝으로 몰아 넣더니 남북관계마저 파탄시켜 민족 전체를 전쟁의 접경으로 내몰고 있다.

국내에서 민생, 민주, 민족 문제 해결을 위해 온 노력을 기울여야 함에도 아무런 해결책도 얻을 수 없는 ‘핵안보정상회의’ 참석을 위해 이곳 워싱턴디씨에 온 박근혜를 우리 재미동포들은 규탄한다. 박근혜는 핵안보정상회의에 참석하여 한미일 3국 정상회담을 통해 3국의 독자제재 방안을 강화하고 북핵 포기 견인을 위해 국제사회의 대북 압박을 강화 할 것이라고 하였다. 그러나 이미 94년 북미제네바 합의 이후, 지난 20여년 동안 소위 ‘북핵문제’는 대북적대정책에 기초한 압박과 제제가 아닌, 상호주의에 기초한 대화와 합의 그리고 그 이행만이 해결책임이 증명되었다.

이에 우리 재미동포들은 다음과 같이 촉구한다.

1. 박근혜 정권은 파탄난 민생, 파괴된 민주주의, 파멸된 남북관계를 정상화 하라.
2. 한미 정부는 대북적대정책을 폐기하고 한반도 평화협정을 체결하라.
3. 한미 정부는 한반도와 미국에 핵전쟁 참화를 불러올 북침 전쟁연습을 즉각 중지하라.
4. 오바마 정부는 북침전쟁연습 예산을 민생예산으로 돌려 한반도와 미국시민들의 생명과 평화를 지키라.

<Emergency Statement on U.S. Visit of President Park Geunhye, the U.S. Worshipper & Civilian Dictator>

We, Korean Americans who promote peace and justice, strongly denounce the U.S. visit of President Park Geunhye, who’s proven to be a U.S. worshipper & civilian dictator. President Park has caused so much suffering to the Korean people by murderously repressing democracy and curtailed economic livelihood and led the Korean peninsula into a whirlwind of war by completely destroying what’s left of relationship with North Korea.

Starting her term with a huge election scandal of the National Intelligence Service interference, Park Geunhye has steadily deteriorated the national economy and strongly repressed the most basic civil rights during her three years in the presidency, only kowtowing to the U.S. interests and establishing her power as a civilian dictator. The problems are countless – the illegal interference investigation of the NIS, an independent investigation of sinking of the Sewol Ferry, reversing amendment of labor laws for the worse, creating more jobs for the college graduates, halting national control over history text-books, putting a stop on political repression, such as disbanding the Unified Progressive Party, nullifying the Korea-Japan Agreement on comfort women issue, repealing the counter-terrorist laws, abolishing hostile North Korea policies, reopening of Gaesung Industrial Complex, stopping the plan for THAAD deployment, discontinuing aggressive and pre-emptive strike war exercises against the North Korea, etc., nothing of which has been resolved until today.

Park Geunhye proclaimed for “normalizing the abnormal” is her governmental management philosophy. Nevertheless, she has marginalized what used to be normal – destroying democracy and people’s livelihood and healthy criticisms. At this time, should President Park visit the U.S. for hypocritical “nuclear summit” with the countries who own more nuclear weapons than the rest of the word and exhibit no desire to give up their own nuclear hegemony? We denounce her double-standard on the nuclear posture.

We, Korean Americans, urge and demand the following:

1. To the Park Administration – Stop the repression on democracy, restore the people’s
